Construction details

This building is made from "Ebonite Black Slate" utility brick from Werden Buck Co., with water-repellent mortar. We used utility brick and a 6" dry block behind the brick for the facade. The side and rear elevations are made of 8" dry blocks, with water-repellent mortars. We used the water-repellent block to keep the walls waterproof.

We used PZ S-HIDE I/E LX FLT BLOCK FIL 6-7 B500 as a primer and PP Perma EXT PIT FLX ELAST 4-140XI B500 to paint the CMU block. Metal coping covers the wall. The foundation and driveway are made of concrete, the roof is made of rubber, and the exterior utilizes bricks.
