Construction details

The front elevation and the first floor are made from Werden Buck Co.'s utility brick, with water-repellent mortar. The upper floors are made from limestone, also with water-repellent mortar. We used an 8" dry block behind the brick and the water-repellent block to keep the walls waterproof.

The rear and side elevation are both made from limestone and 6" dry blocks with water-repellent mortar. Metal coping covers the wall top. The foundation and the driveway are made of concrete. The exterior comprises bricks and limestone, with the roof made of rubber.
