Construction details

This building is made from "Ebonite Black Slate" utility brick from Werden Buck Co., with water-repellent mortar. We used utility brick and a 6" dry block behind the brick for the façade and then used the water-repellent block to keep the walls waterproof.

In the front, we have a masonry colony for balcony support. Metal coping covers the wall top. The foundation and driveway are made of concrete, the roof is made of rubber, and the exterior combines bricks and dry blocks.
